The invasion of African zombies started in Beijing
Men standing like power poles on road sides
mummies moving around aimlessly in rural shopping centres,
others fixed on newspaper stands
with nothing but political gossip dancing on their lips
Seated on jobless corners
Eyes escorting those busy living
Mind numbed by yokozuna, kumi kumi, karobo
Their demeaned property-
Their wives,
took on the pens, PCs and pants
to earn the shiny silver
while the father rots away in some froth.
The rape of women is a cry for help,
taming an eagle that knows its no longer a chick hen
