Wangari’s career as a PR practitioner was a natural transition from her role as one of the founding Directors of the Bloggers Association of Kenya (BAKE) where she served for three years as the Director of training as well as the executive director for Bloggers Media Limited- the BAKE PR & Digital marketing agency.
As a strategic communications specialist, her work across sub-Saharan Africa has included providing global PR and communications strategy as well as digital marketing and market research for Telkom South Africa (formerly Africa Online), Liquid Telcom (formerly Kenya Data Networks), East African Educational Publishers, Bloggers Association of Kenya (BAKE), GeoPoll and Cellulant. She helps brands tell their stories through a writing style that is articulate, considered and results-driven.
